Good morning, hope it's sunshiny were you are, we've been getting quite a bit of rain lately.

I'm entering this card in the iralamija challenge found here. She makes gorgeous digital collage sheets and I'm in love with this new one called Floral Postcards! I added one of her tickets from the Old Tickets collection and put Tilda holding a heart on top of that, I think she fits in there perfectly. I stickled around the edges, on Tilda, and a few of the flowers.

I made this into an easel card and added to the background some K&Co DP, and the with love piece is from another collage sheet, Vintage Tags...which can all be found at her Etsy iralamija shop. Thanks for looking, I wish you a sunshiny day!

Butterfly Girl

This is my first card using a Krista Smith stamp (Sugar Nellie-Butterfly Girl)! I have to confess the first time I saw this line, they just weren't me, but then I saw this stamp over on Funky Kits and bought her...I masked off the butterfly on her face and I just fell in love with her! Then I saw that Krista had some gorgeous images done up in digis on Etsy, well I saw quite a few I had to have, lol... and now I'm impatiently waiting for her next new release on Saturday! ;) I've already made a bunch of other cards made with these beauties I'll be showing you soon.

Another first is using some gorgeous vintage digi papers (collage sheets) from the iralamijashop over on Etsy, they are so pretty! It's so nice being able to use them over and over and not have to worry about running out! Amazing selection to choose from. On this card I used Pastel Tags & Bella Rose.

The striped background DP is from the Lost & Found Blush paper pad. Circle sentiment is by LotV, hugs sentiment is a digi by Raspberry Road Designs-Ephemera Alpha Tags, I know I'll be using those alot! Added some flowers , button, lace, seam binding ribbon, pearls & heart charm. Also distressed & sewed on the edges. Card outline-Messy Stitched Squares by Katie Pertiet over at designerdigitals.com.

Hello friends, wow 2012 is here, I hope everyone is off to a great start. :) I'm loving the vintage look lately, so you'll be seeing more of that style from me this year, my interpretation of it anyway, lol. Whimsy Stamps has some great "vintage" like stamps, love these shown on the card...I stamped the post card on some Bo Bunny DP and went around the edges of paper & flowers with stardust stickles. Good Friends & Chocolate

Hello Friends, I wanted to share a few of the Christmas gifts I made recently...

I altered this little date book, which I got from Walmart. Stamp is by Magnolia, DP is by We R Memory Keepers-Merry January, love the colors in it, and thought it would work for the whole year. CS is SU True Thyme and Black. Tilda is colored with Copics...I sewed and distressed with Versafine Toffee around the edges. I also sponged a bit of ink on the ribbon and book to give it a more vintage feel.

I was inspired to make this octagon box after I saw one on someone's blog, here's the link to the tutorial if you'd like it...I was going to make more of these but that didn't happen, maybe for next year! :) The pennant was inspired by the amazing Camilla, her creations are always stunning and gorgeous, and I could spend all day checking out the detailing on her cards! Pennent die is by Magnolia & alphabet by Tim Holtz.

Here is the mini candy bar wrapper I made, I was inspired to make this as soon as I saw the wonderful digi sentiment, it came in a set of 14 individual sentiments...love them, so many ways you can use them! They are from Bits of Ivory-Sweet Kitchen Sentiments over on Cuddly Buddly.

The sentiment is so true! It's amazing all the friends I've made through our mutual love of stamping, I really treasure those friendships! (Warm winter hugs to all my friends today)!

For the card I used a sweet Tilda from Magnolia and she's colored with copics. DP is by Bo Bunny, CS is SU Cranberry, Artichoke & some Neenah. I alos used Magnolia & Spellbinder dies, flowers, ribbon, button and distress crackle paint.

Good morning! The TOMIC Challenge this week is vintage and lace...I'm loving the vintage look and sentiments that are coming out now. Wish they'd come out with some good fonts so I could make my own sentiments. All stamps are by Magnolia , Whimsy & LotV. I went a bit overboard with the card, but it was fun putting together!

Spread a Little Happiness

Wow, December came fast once again didn't it! Now I'm looking forward to some snow. :) Forgot I was going to post a few of my pics I took from last month with our first snowfall, will hopefully remember to do that with the next upload! I hurried and made this card this morning to go with the blog candy down below, I see I need to tweek a few things, haha. Anyway, this cute little stamp is from Wild Rose Studio and she's called Mia in the Snow. Sentiment is by Ladybug & Friends, DP is by....gosh sorry can't find it under all this CLUTTER, don't know how I can stamp anything at all in this mess! ;) CS is by PTI-Scarlet Jewel and some Neenah. Accessories used are: paper doily, distress crackle paint, buttons, seam binding ribbon, stickles, Cheery Lynn dancing doily lace border and copics for coloring.

Look, something not Christmasy or by Magnolia! :) I've been wanting to use some of my Whiff of Joy images, so I was going through them and this one stood out, perfect for a Thanksgiving card. Sentiment is by Crafty Secrets and paper is Simple Stories-Generations, Bazzill, Neenah and CTMH Van Cream.

Birthday Wishes

Hello, has everyone else been as busy as me with trying to get all your Christmas cards/gifts done before Thanksgiving/Dec! I'm just about done thankfully and then I can move onto the shopping part, eek, I'm not ready! :) I'm usually at least half way done by now! On to the card, I used a darling hAnglar, colored her with copics (E000 E00 E02 E30 E50 R20 RV21 RV23 B0000 BG11 C0 T1) added stickles, flowers, buttons, pearls, ribbon and a vintage paper doily. Paper is K&Co and CTMH.

Look who got to go into Nana's room and STAMP for the first time!! Dallie's always been fascinated with my room and I thought it was time she started learning to stamp...she took right to it and didn't want to stop, haha! She holds that stamp like a pro, love her tiny little fingers, she was being so careful. Can't wait to see what her first card will look like!

When we first started to punch out things, the punches were to hard for her fingers to punch down, but we finally found one she could use and when she did her first one she said "I DID IT"! She was super excited, she could have done this for hours. :) I want to do up some of these pics I took of her in black and white and hang them on the wall, so sweet!

Tilda Basket

Three posts in one week, not sure I've done that yet this year! :) I'm entering this at TOMIC and the challenge is to create a basket and decorate with Magnolia stamps. Magnolia part was easy since those are all I've been using lately! Wasn't sure how to make a basket, so went on youtube and found a design for this one, very easy! Decorated it with lace & butterflies and then added a Magnolia tag.
Here's a side view with a few little goodies inside.

I covered a memo pad with this cutie.

A close up of the tag, hard getting a good picture at night, so I added a bit of colored cardstock behind her to bring out the colors a little more.

Happy Christmas

Hi! Another Christmas card! ;) First I have to tell you that this front panel is a little off because I'd forgotten to adhere it to the brown bazzill before I took the picture, lol, silly me! It IS fixed now, haha! I masked the two Magnolia images, colored with copics, added some liquid applique, some I heated and for the tiny flakes here and there I didn't. DP used is by Bo Bunny (they def. have some gorgeous papers)! I've added stickles and crackle paint on the edges. Sentiment is by Crafty Secrets called Christmas Mail. Added lots of embellishments...lots of fun to make!

Here's my GD Kimber's 3 month pic, love her tongue sticking out, so cute! :) She's got deep blue eyes (like our side of the family) and Dallie has dark brown like her mom's side.

On Halloween, she def. stayed toasty in this costume!

Kimber wasn't much for anything but sleeping ;) so sweet as a pumpkin.

As you can see, I've skipped Halloween/Fall cards and have dived right into Christmas! :) That's about all I've made this last week, so if your not ready for those, you might need to skip my blog for the next little while, lol.

Wild Orchid Challenge blog wanted a Santa put on a card for their challenge, so I thought I'd use my cute Bear Essentials Christmas stamp, the image is colored with Copics and I added some Stardust Stickles and for the snow I used some Liquid Applique. DP used is by Webster Pages, CS is SU Artichoke & Natural White Neenah. I added some Distress Crackle Paint around the DP and the poinsettia's (also colored them a bit with copic to match the cs) ...all flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, as is the seam binding ribbon.

Moonlight Wishes

Hello, things are finally settling down around here and I can get back to stamping more often! :) This sweet image is from Lili of the Valley called Moonlight Wishes, she's colored with Copics and I added stickles for some glitter. DP used is by K&Co, cardstock is SU Pretty in Pink and some Neenah. We recently went to an estate sale and I found some gorgeous vintage paper doilies, love those...too bad I covered most of this one! The poinsettia is from Spellbinders, sentiment from SU and I went around the papers with Distress Crackle Paint.

We got our first deep freeze this morning, brrr...but I AM enjoying the start of the Fall season and seeing all the trees turn, so beautiful! Have a lovely day everyone.

Friendship Warms The Heart

Hi friends, it's been awhile since my last post, we're super busy here doing various things, so no time to stamp...hopefully that will change by the end part of October. :) In June for my b-day my dear friend Claudia sent me a stunning/gorgeous card with some neat folds to it (WOW) and so I was inspired to make her one too for her b-day! More inspiration came from another dear friend Debbie S, she sent me some of the Magnolia stamps shown on this card so I wanted to make her one also, thanks to both of you for the inspiration and friendship!

Most of the stamps are by Magnolia and Close to my Heart. Colored with Copics, sorry I lost the recipe to the card...if I find it, I'll post it!

I used different stamps on this fold for Claudia's card, Debbie likes going to the movies like I do, so this one was perfect for her.

Added another little gift in this pocket.

I thought I would make my first Christmas card of the year, can't believe I'm so far behind, it'll be here before we know it! I went with a tag card and the cute Belles 'n Whistles stamp I used is from the Snowbabies Collection called Peek-A-Boo.

Image is colored with copics and glittered with stickles. On the fence I added "snow" using Distress Crackle Paint (picket fence), it's also used along the edges of the DP. DP is the gorgeous Webster Pages, so hard to cover any of it up! I added a snowflake behind, buttons, pearls, etc.

Here is the inside of the tag, this will be going to my friend Dena. I stuck her name on the tag and stickled around the letters, this is so sparkly! I added more snowflakes and the sentiment is wordart from Studio Bethany.

Friends Furever Mini PB Card

Hi all! I got some mini paperbags last year (I think at Walmart) and have been wanting to make a card with them since then and I'm just now getting to it! Love the size and the other day as I was looking at blogs I saw some stamps by Torico, so had to go look her up and found the cutest dog stamp set over on There She Goes Clear Stamps. Lots of dog images and great sentiments! All images and sentiments on this is in the stamp set except for the thank you on the front, I got that font on Scrapnfonts, love all the little hearts here and there and grungy look. First I just wanted to say my thoughts and prayers are with those in Norway, so very tragic and sad.

On to my easel card, I used Magnolia stamps from one of the kits (thanks Kelly for hooking me up with this awesome set...yes, I'm just now using it, lol) and the sentiment is word art by Katie Pertiet-At the Beach, great sentiment! One of my most favorite things is being at the beach, I really wish I lived closer! Image colored with copics, sorry didn't get all the copics written down, I used quite a few colors. DP is Bo Bunny and CS is SU Pomegranate. Used some tulle, pearls, paper doily, charms, flowers, stickles and distresser.

Sweet of You & Baby News

Good morning! Some of you already know from my post on Facebook yesterday that we have HAPPY news to share! Our oldest son & our DIL had a baby girl yesterday! Her name is Kimber Lynn, she weighed 8lb 5oz, same as her sister did when she was born! :) She's a little bruised up from the birth, but she and mom are doing well and are supposed to come home today (more cudding with that sweet baby)! :)

On the card I'm using another adorable LotV image, ALL their stamps are cute as can be! This one is named Maisie Sitting Pretty, I colored her with copics. Sentiment is by Pink Petticoat. Used a paper heart doily, flowers, Magnolia swirl die (thanks Debbie for the inspiration of layering 2), butterfly punch, pearls, buttons...and the DP is K&Co Watercolor Bouquet.

Wishing all my American friends a Happy 4th of July weekend! Most of my family is off camping, we would have been too, but my hubby is a fire fighter and he's on call. So we plan on going to go see the new Transformers movie tomorrow, then on the 4th having dinner at my mom's and then going over to my oldest son's house to watch fireworks, they have a great spot where they live, yay! :) Their making homemade ice cream too, yummy!! Wonder if my granddaughter will gasp every time a firework goes off this year like she did last year! haha

I used a Sassy Cheryl's digi called I Pledge Allegiance and a Printworks Sentiment. DP is by Bo Bunny, Paper Loft...CS is Bazzill and NCW Neenah. Colored image with copics and used my sanded bkg stamp on and around image with Versafine Toffee ink. Hello dear friends, today I'm using a Lili of the Valley stamp called For Mum. I took off the mum balloons and masked in regular ones. It's colored with copics and I added some stickles. I cut out the image with a curved rectangle nestie and sponged around it with versafine toffee ink while still in the nestie. DP paper used is by MME and I also used CTMH Twilight & Vanilla Cream. Sentiment is by TAC from the set Lucy. I added flowers, tulle, pearls, sewing, lace, buttons and some distressing. Wishing you all a lovely day. :)

Fun in the Sun

I think this card is appropriate for today since summer has finally arrived here! It was in the high 80s yesterday and today will be in the 90s, so nice after all the cool/rainy weather we've had for months. I colored this last year sometime and it's been sitting around waiting for me to make a card with it (not the best coloring, I'm noticing, lol, should touch it up a bit). Hi, I made this awhile back, wish I could have gotten a better picture of it before I sent it off, it's a bit glaring. I used a mini hanglar girl which is colored with copics, I misplaced the card recipe so not sure which colors I used. Flower sentiment is by Inkadinkadoo. Added some pearls, filigree corners and dp is Kaisercraft.

Still not stamping, I go through streaks where I don't, but hopefully I can get to it again soon...the weather has been "coolish" so the days we DO have warm weather I am outside enjoying it. My poor garden needs some hot days! :)

Hello, it's been a few weeks! We had a death in the family (my uncle) so we've been in California with my aunt & cousins...we got back Sunday and another cousin of mine is visiting and stayed with us a few days, so it's been hectic/busy around here.

I made this Penny Black hedgie card before we left, love those hedgies! Colored with copics, added some stickles and a few highlights with an extra fine sharpie pen. Sentiment is by LotV and I used a doily die from PTI. DP is from MME and I used SU Regal Rose, CTMH Chocolate, Bazzill, Neenah and PTI Ocean Tides CS.

I love the new hAnglar sailor kit and couldn't wait to ink this cute girl up. For the background I used a stamp by CTMH called Summer Breeze. DP is by Kaiser Craft-Seaside, CS used-SU Riding Hood Red, CTMH Vanilla Cream and Neenah. For the flowers I used Nellie Snellen, EK Success & MS punches. We've had lots of rain the last few months with very few days of warms days and sunshine so I'm definitely thinking sunny thoughts! :) I used TGF Cheeky Beach & colored her with copics, background is Katie Pertiet's Traveler Clusters No 1 Brush that I got from Designer Digitals. Hi! This is a bit of a long post...starting with this Penny Black card I made. The stamp is called Sunshine in the Rain, I don't know what it is about umbrella images, but I love them and this one is so cute! I paper pieced parts of it and shaded a little with copics. The sentiment is one I made, if any of my "regular readers" want it just let me know and I'll email it to you. DP is K&Co-Floral, cardstock-PTI Plum Pudding, SU Certainly Celery & Old Olive, CTMH Vanilla Cream. Flowers are a mix of Nellie Snellen & Spellbinders. Doily is by PTI...love making my own colors!

Hope you all had a Happy Easter weekend. We spent ours with family, it was really nice and lots of fun, especially watching all the things our granddaughter did. :)

Here she is decorating some rice krispy treats shaped into eggs...she loved adding the candy...and eating it too! lol

On Saturday we went to her first easter egg hunt and then my oldest son and DIL had the family over for dinner. My son made the best smoked chicken and pork, yum! This is the darling cake my DIL made, as you can see Dallie was being patient waiting to eat it! :)

I love the look on her face here, too cute! I know she's thinking, can I have some now, I'm being really good! :)

At the second egg hunt at Church...they got there a few minutes late and I was afraid they were going to miss out on some eggs, but as you can see below there were plenty left! :) She's so sweet and adorable in that dress.

Sunday we had a bbq with another part of our family (all adults) up at one of the parks...we are kids at heart and had our own easter egg hunt and we had prizes you could hunt for. :) It was a lot of fun...we thought it might rain, but thankfully it was one of the warmer days we've had this spring, it was soooo nice! We've gotten lots of rain the last couple of months, we could def. use more sunshine around here!

And last...anyone watch The Voice last night? I thought it was really good, love the different judges and that their all singers. There was lots of talent and I have quite a few favs going in, they still have 5 singers each to pick! Can't image how they are going to be able to cut them from the competition week to week! So far I think Adam has the strongest team, I really like the girl in this vid, Rebecca Loebe, she's got an amazing voice and I love what she did with the song. I also like Javier, maybe the country guy & the couple Elenowen. Vicci & Xenia have interesting voices too...no one was "bad" really, nice change from American Idol. If you missed the show it'll be re-aired tonight on NBC and again on the E channel this weekend I think.

Good morning! Still busy with family, etc., but I did find time to make a few little Easter cards and wanted to post them before Easter! This was inspired by my friend Joy, she made me the beautiful hAnglar card down below and I loved it and the shape it was made into, so I had to make one too! :) I used an adorable Penny Black bunny that I got in a swap, I used Labels 17, MME Stella Rose-Gertie DP and PTI Ripe Avocado CS.

Good morning! I got the cute Easter/Spring Magnolia kit recently and so did a friend, so we decided to use the kit and exchange a card and gift item and this is what I made her. All stamps are by Magnolia, colored with Copics and paper used is K&Co-Floral Dreams, PTI Plum Pudding and Neenah. I sponged around the image and cardstock with Versafine Toffee ink and added Lace, Pearls, Filigree Corner, etc. I made her a candy tin for the gift. Die Tag is also from Magnolia.

A simpler card today, I used this cute little The Greeting Farm boy, one of his eyes was closed so I masked in a open eye, I like him much better that way. He's from the OA Just For You set and the sentiment is by Hero Arts. Some of you knew I watched the Bachelor this season, I was happy to see that Brad chose Emily and she said yes! :) Congrats to them! They had the most unusual After The Final Rose, being honest and saying that it's NOT all roses in their relationship, with her having to watch the show as it aired and seeing him with the other girls (It was so obvious to me that he was smitten with Emily from the first) the tabloids, etc...but they seem to be giving it a clean slate and I wish them much happiness. American Idol-SPOILERS WARNING!!!

I just finished watching the Las Vegas rounds, so glad to see another stage in the elimination process! They have a great group of singers, some I like more than others...right now I'm liking Kendra, Paul, Tim, Casey, Ashton, Brett, Naima and a few others I can't remember right off. This will probably change when the live show starts and will have a few other favs as well. I was sad to see DeAndre and Hollie let go, they were early favs. I don't know how this show does it, but they had me crying, ugh! lol

Survivor-SPOILER WARNING!!!

Rob strikes again, loving it! Especially since my MVP is Grant and I want him in the game a LONG time! ;) Now if only we could hear and see him more instead of Rob/Russell. lol I can't believe almost everyone is following Rob's lead, it's funny to watch. I'm hoping he gets blindsided down the road...along with Russell hopefully this next tribal, ha! I was shocked that Matt went out so early, they need their strong males!!! Wonder if he'll be back? I couldn't believe that Ralph found that hidden immunity idol and he wasn't even looking for it (or seemed not to be) should make for some fun tribals in the future! I've sure enjoyed the last two, lol.

I loved seeing Jeff's face, and everyone else's, when Phillip made his statement (s), how crazy was that! And I really hope we don't see him in his underwear anymore, ack! I'm not a fan of Russell's AT ALL, so as long as they don't make it the Russell show like past season's I'll be happy.

Happy Valentine's Day! :) I want to thank Lim for being a sweetheart and sending me a few images from the latest Magnolia kit until I could get my own stamps, they just get cuter and cuter! I colored the Tilda with copics and I colored in the hearts with a red atyou Spica pen, you can't see it here but it's so much more sparkly IRL. I took a pic of the candy bag tag down below at an angle so you could see a bit better, not the greatest picture though. Sentiments are by Magnolia and Ladybug and Friends.

Good morning! Valentine's is just around the corner so I made my hubby a Penny Black hedgie card since those are his fav. I used a great sketch by Tina46 over at Stamp With Fun and kept it clean and simple since it's for hubby...wait until you see the Anniversary card I made him, it's kind of girly, haha, don't know what I was thinking, oh well, he'll still like it. ;) I got these amazing papers from my friend Debbie, (thank you!!) they are from Stampin' Up. I colored with copics and used Crystal Stickles, I popped up pieces on the hedgie/balloon but you can't really tell by this picture. Sentiment is by SU.

Good morning, I made this card a few weeks ago as a thank you for my dear friend Debbie, (thanks again!) she sent me all the purple goodies (flowers, pearls, cs, dp and lace) and I came up with this. :) I really wish I'd of colored the girl with the hat a different color, not sure I'm really liking the orange with the other colors, but I used it anyway. :) The stamp is by Lili of the Valley and the sentiment is word art by Studio Bethany-Friends 4. She has some awesome word art!

My second themed calendar, Penny Black hedgies. My secret santa loves hedgies, so this is what I came up with for her. I'll be showing you a few of my favs from the set. Their all colored with copics and I used stickles on them for some sparkle. Sentiment on this one is by Ladybug & Friends, I love the font!

I was going to make her a monkey card, since it was monkey themed, but couldn't resist using these adorable Lily of the Valley images! It's made into an easel...

Sorry, just couldn't get very good lighting on this. The Dallie banner (letters) and Happy 2nd B-day are computer generated.

I love this picture of Dallie, she sure loves the "little" things. :) I have a round snowman ornament with marshmallows inside, everytime she came over she was facinated with it, I'm hoping to make her, her own for next Christmas. Tilda Christmas Box

Hi, this will be my last post for the year, I'm taking a blogging break, will be back sometime in mid January, hopefully. :) Another one of my Christmas projects was this box, I was inspired by Sinikka's gorgeous hAnglar one she did awhile back, she was sweet enough to send me the template/instructions, thanks Sinikka! I know some of you don't want anymore snow, lol, but our 8" is just about gone with all the rain we've had this past week...so here's hoping we get some before Christmas. ;) This Bugaboo snowman digi was a freebie over on CDAC along with the bells, and I just masked them together. I colored with copics and added lots of stickles for sparkle. Hanglar Calendar

I hope everyone is enjoying the season, we've been busy here, now I just need to get presents wrapped. Hubby has the whole week off, yesterday we went with our youngest son (18) to see the movie Unstoppable, pretty intense and Sunday a friend and I went to see The Tourist, we really enjoyed that. I've really been wanting to see Tangled (animated film) but no one was wanting to see it with me, until I asked my niece (she's 21)so we'll be seeing that on Thursday, it looks cute! :) We want to see the latest Narnia film too, so hopefully we can squeeze that in somewhere. Secret Santa Gifts

Hi, a bit of a long post today! :) I was in a secret santa exchange over on SCS and we finally did our reveal last night, so I can show a few of the things I made for my special friend. We were to include cookies or a cookie recipe and I went with the recipe, this is 6x6 and both stamps are from Penny Black, paper is October Afternoon...gingerbread cookie recipe can be found under my labels on the sidebar.

I also made her a Penny Black hedgie calendar, here's a sneak peek of one of the month's, I'll show the rest in January...I did up a few sets of a hAnglar calendar which I'll be showing next week.

Also included was a Christmas music mix, another Penny Black image used.

And here's a few pics of Dallie when we made cookies the other day, she knew exactly what to do after we showed her, she loved helping her mama and Nana make those cookies! No, that dough shouldn't look that crumbly, lol, I'd been talking to my mom on the phone and I accidently added 1 cup extra flour, eek! We still used it though and they weren't too bad! ;)

I don't know if any of you remember, but when I posted a pic of Dallie on her 1st b-day she was picking off the sprinkles from her cake, well, she likes to pick them off the cookies too almost a year later! lol

When I went to check out the names of these digis I saw one I wish I'd used instead of Winter Emma...Party Emma! She'd of been perfect with him, I'll have to do that next time...don't know how I missed her!

Snow Day!

Can't believe it's December already, we're starting it off with lots of snow...picture down below! For today's card I used a hAnglar and stAnglar image, she's colored with copics and the banner is paper pieced with added buttons and the hat fur I used stickles and tinsel glitter. DP is by Bo Bunny and I also used my new favorite color by SU-Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke.

It's been snowing non-stop since yesterday morning, we now have over 7", I took this pic at 6am when I was shoveling off the sidewalk. :) It's definitely a day for some hot cocoa, hope you all have a great day! ~hugs

Hi all, a late posting, had a fabulous Thanksgiving and then my son and I went Black Friday shopping... we left the house at 3:30 am! A little early for me, lol! Good morning! I've loved these Inky Antic stamps for quite some time and finally purchased them early this year just so I could make a Thanksgiving card with them! :) I didn't think I'd have time to actually get one made, but last night I finally did, it took me forever to figure out a design though, lol. I'm not a pumpkin pie fan, so I went with apple. ;) Although my most favorite pie for Thanksgiving/Christmas is Lemon Meringue, YUM!! Oh and Costco's Pecan Pie, oh man that is rich, but SO good! My mom makes oatmeal pie, it's similiar to pecan pie, it's awesome too! I made this into an easel card...had to fit all those stamps in! ;)

I hope everyone that celebrates Thanksgiving has a wonderful day. We're having my hubby's mom over for breakfast, then we'll be going to my dad's for a big family dinner/get together.

Let it Snow...Let it Snow...Let it Snow!! ;) That is the challenge over on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog this week...and can you believe we have a "chance" to get some snow here maybe tonight, and it was 70 degrees on Saturday! lol I LOVE snow so I'm hoping for at least a few flurries. :) I have lots of different snowflakes on here, paper, stickers and some flower soft on the bottom of the snowman and tree and "swirling snow" with the swirl die! ;) My card is so bright! I usually use a cream colored neenah cardstock, but used the solar white this time.

I haven't added a song in awhile, this one is by the Cary Brothers called Can't Take My Eyes Off You, another song played on Smallville recently, but I've loved this song since I first heard it! Hope you enjoy it too.

Hi, I managed to make another card, I was using this sweet Penny Black image on one of my other Christmas projects and thought I'd make a card with her too. I cut her out of the frame she was in and of course, she's colored with copics. :) I used the gorgeous Webster Pages for the background papers and some PTI Scarlet Jewel cardstock and ribbon...one of my favorite colors! Hi, my card creativity has gone out the window sorry to say! I've been working on my Christmas projects and that's were it's all going, lol! So you won't be seeing many cards this month I have a feeling. ;) I'd colored this hAnglar image last year, trying to go with "lighter" colors, I'm just never completely happy when "I" do it though, richer/darker colors seem to be more "me". Anyway, I used the Spellbinders Labels 9 to make this easel card, she's colored with copics then I added stickles, flowers, ribbon, branch and heart punches. The sentiment is a digi from Pink Petticoat.

Hi! I'm entering this in the Friday Sketchers challenge, I used the great little sketch they had. I thought since she was "outside" it would be fun to add a little snowflake border, but I couldn't figure out how to make it more lighter, so it's a little dark. I also tried something new, I left a little white area around the stamped image when I cut her out, something a little different for me. She's colored with copics and prismacolor pencils. Yesterday I was checking out some blogs and I went on Tricia's, and I saw her darling card made with this sweet image!! Of course I had to check out the Etsy store Whimsy and Stars she linked to, this sweetie is from Mabelle RO (she does lots of cute stamps for TAC) and she just now started doing digis! Woohooo! She has so many cute designs, so if you like this style go check them out! Anyway, this adorable girl is a challenge freebie over on CDAC, it's a digi site I never even knew about until I saw Tricia's post.

For the card I used this great sketch from sfytt (down below). Colored the image with copics and added a little prisma color pencil for shading. I cut out around the arm/hand and popped in the pumpkin for dimension, which you really can't see here. I added some glue dots to the sunflowers too for dimension. Thanks for looking!

I can't seem to stop making non-traditional colored Christmas cards! It's all that new Christmas paper I can't resist, lol. I made this into a different sized/shaped easel card, I thought this sweet little Tilda was perfect to put besides the tree. I added some crystals to the snowflakes on the Bo Bunny paper and on the punched snowflakes. Tilda is paper pieced with Bo Bunny paper and the sentiment is from CTMH-Just for the Holidays.

On the inside is more of the same paper and on the top of the panel I left an opening so you can insert a gift card. Have a nice weekend!

Good morning...this card is using a Dawny P sketch from Just Magnolia, loved using it! This Tilda is from the fall club kit, can you believe I received it (since I never did get the summer one from them)! As soon as I saw this tilda I thought a banner of some type would be perfect with her, recently Stampin' Up had a clearance sale and I happened to notice they now sell a few digi kits!! Well, that pennant banner was in one of them and so perfect for what I wanted! They have a few different styles in the kit and I love that we can resize them. :) The JOY is computer generated and heart to heart is off a SU wheel that I took apart. My coloring on the face is a bit off, I fixed it, just didn't get another picture taken after I did. Thanks, as always, for stopping by!

Lots of pics on this post... first is a fall card using Rachelle Anne Miller's sweet little scarecrow image from Stampavie. I didn't get that sentiment on there very straight did I, lol, it's computer generated and image is colored with copics. Paper used is by Scribble Scrabble and cardstock is SU-Choc Chip & Cranberry Crisp. I sponged some Versafine Toffee on the oval. and sewed and distressed along the edges.

I was in Kyoko's tag swap this month, we had to exchange 3 Christmas tags, Joy was my swap partner and these darling tags are what she sent me...love them, so CUTE! Pretty how she added all the sparkle! Thanks Joy!

Here's my sweet granddaughter Dallie when we went to go pick pumpkins and went on a hayride...it's sooo hard getting a picture of her smiling, she's just to fast for my camera...she's standing here thinking ok, how fast can I get to the next batch of pumpkins, lol!

She called the green pumpkins watermelons, and it was so cute how she pronounced it!

Here she's picked up Nana's (what she calls me, love that) pumpkin, it's just about the right size for her! :) We had such a fun time and what a blessing to share it with her. Have a nice day!

Good morning! I'm entering this in the Just Magnolia challenge which is 2x2, they want to see things in pairs. Using just the front of this card I used the stamp, 2 houses, 2 butterflies, 2 patterned papers, 2 pearls, 2 punched leaves, and 2 different colored grasses. This card is inspired by Kim (love all the sparkle she adds to her cards-and everything else!) and Anja & Monique, who make the cutest scene cards! Thanks ladies for the inspiration!

Fall is definitely here, love this time of year, the trees are finally starting to turn...it's gorgeous! Whipper Snapper came out with some new images recently and one of my favorite things is scarecrows, so this was first in my cart to buy, I think he's SOOO cute...he makes me smile! Wow, it's amazing it's October already...that means Christmas is right around the corner, and I'm so not ready! This card is being entered into the lovely hAnglar only challenge, and the challenge is "Seasons". Shocking I didn't do a winter/Christmas card isn't it, lol! These sweet hAnglar images were given to me by my friend Debbie and the pretty corner piece by another friend, Claudia, thanks to you both! I used an older Our Creative Corner sketch for the front of the card, image is colored with copics and the leaves I got from Michael's.

Good morning, this cute image is by Penny Black and the sketch is an older one by Nikki F. that I've used before, love it! Image is colored with copics and I sponged around the edges with creamy caramel while the panel was still in the nestie, I've been wanting to do that for awhile now, and finally did with the last few images I've done. :) Thanks for stopping by.

Hi, I'm entering this into the Lovely hAnglar Only challenge, which is to paper piece. I used Bo Bunny-Noel DP for the girl and the rest of the card uses PTI Scarlet Jewel, CTMH Vanilla Cream and Neenah. Hi, have you ever made a card, didn't like it and did it over, well that's what I did with this card! I liked the panel part with the image, but wasn't liking the sewing job or arrangement of papers so I saved the panel and got rid of the rest and I finally came up with this, I like it much better! :) And look, it's NOT a Christmas card! ;) Details on card will be down below.

Music lovers...Marcea has a challenge to share a song/video each week, well, I'm a fanatic about music, love all different types and artists so thought this would be fun and a good way to hear new/old artists and or songs I might not have heard before. Isn't the artwork of this music girl the sweetest, I just love her! Thanks for the challenge Marcea!

It was SO hard coming up with my first song to share, I love so many, but I'm going with one of my favorite bands...LIFEHOUSE, and a fav song that I don't think is heard as often as some of their other popular ones. The song is called Storm, I think it's beautiful and Jason's vocal on it is amazing, hope you like it too.

Can you tell I'm in the Christmas mood right now, lol, all I made this last week is Christmas cards and still working on my project (which I can't show until Dec). ;) This adorable bear is from Lili of the Valley called All Shopped Out...I haven't even started my Christmas shopping...ack!

I'm trying to catch up on blogs, but it's taking some time, I'm having issues with my computer freezing and "not responding" just whenever, so it's frustrating. It's not a virus but some kind of bug from microsoft, let's hope they find a fix for it soon. Have a nice day!

Hi all, hope you had a nice weekend! I got this cute Stamping Bella image in a swap, I think those Lulu stamps are so cute! The sentiments were already on the DP so I didn't have to add one...she's colored with copics and I added crystal stickles to make her sparkle.

I'm not getting many cards made lately, I'm in the middle of making a bunch of Christmas projects and the one I'm doing now is pretty involved and I'm doing quite a few of them, so updating posts for awhile might not be very often. Have a nice day!

Hi! I've been doing up Christmas cards lately, here's two different ones with the same image. This adorable image is called Bear Essentials by Buzzcraft. Hi all, still using my Lili of the Valley stamps, this one is Christmas Candle. I got a bunch of bears recently too, so I'll be using those soon. ;) She's colored with copics, cut out with a curved rectangle mega nestie. Paper is by Making Memories-Fa La La collection, SU-Artichoke and Cryogen White. Went around the edges wtih Distress Crackle Paint and I added flowers, buttons, lace, snowflake stickers and punched holly. Copics used are: E000 E00 E51 E53 R02 R20 R59 R81 BG93 C1 C3

Ruby & Rose Lulu

Hi, we're back from a fun & relaxing weekend up in the mountains, pictures below. :) A few weeks ago a sweet lady surprised me with this adorable stamp (Stamping Bella-Ruby & Rose Lulu Coll.) and this is the thank you card I made for her. Image colored with copics, stickled and paper is by K&Co. Sentiment is a digi by Pink Petticoat.

Idaho mountains are gorgeous, this is one of the trails to the falls we went too, it's about 2 1/2 miles in.

I didn't get very good pictures of the falls themselves, this is at the top, it goes further down that it looks.

The creek down below the falls a little ways, I could have stayed here all day! We didn't get to kayak, it was too cold for that but perfect for hiking. We plan on going back this weekend since it will be much warmer, can't wait! :) Have a nice day.

Ladybug & Friends has a new challenge blog called Be Creative and for this month's challenge they put up a wonderful sketch! I've had this fun & cute bear stamp for quite awhile and was glad to finally ink the image up!

I won't be uploading another card until next week, trying to get a few Christmas things STARTED lol and hopefully FINISHED! ;) We'll see how that goes...and then me and hubby are taking a long weekend away to the mountains, so looking foward to that! The Dragonfly

Good morning, Sweet Pea Stamps recently released this gorgeous stamp (The Dragonfly) along with another similar to it called The Moth and I fell in love with them, I love doing up cards with these (so different than the "cutsey style" that I usually do). The image is colored with copics, (E000 E00 E11 E50 E51 R20 RV10 RV32 R81 B0000 BG10 BG11) stickled and mounted on black, pretty in pink and Bo Bunny paper. LotV Challenge 60

I'm back, it's nice taking a blogging break once in awhile. :) I made this for the LotV challenge which is Season's. I had to pick winter since I just got a few of the new Christmas release and couldn't wait to pair these two stamps up. I colored the images with copics added a bit of stickles, paper used is October Afternoon/Good Cheer, SU Regal Rose, PTI Aqua Mist and Neenah. Sentiment is from Hero Arts I think...added some ribbon, swirl die cut, pearls and button.

Dropping the Shopping

Good morning, hope everyone is off to a great week! I'm again using a sweet stamp from Lili of the Valley from the latest release, this one is called Dropping the Shopping. Image is colored with Copics (E000 E00 E30 E31 E53 B0000 B00 B11 R20 R81 R83 RV17 YG93 BG93) and I used Crystal Stickles for some sparkle. Paper used is MME, Regal Rose & Neenah, felt snowflake I got at Hobby Lobby, and I used ribbon, flower & brads...thanks Joy for the hardware piece! :)

I won't be posting next week, but I will be giving away some Lili of the Valley images! I'll be using Memento or Versafine ink on Neenah CS, so if you'd like some images just use the word "pink" in the comments to this card. ;) I'll be giving 3 sets of images away and will have my son or hubby pick names on Sunday the 15th and let you all know who gets some images on the 16th. Hi, first I have a question for my readers... did anyone buy the Magnolia Summer Kit and not want theirs, I'd love to buy it if so...I'd bought one, but I seem to be the only one here in the US that hasn't gotten it yet and I'm afraid it's lost in the mail...boohoo, first time that's happened. :(

On to my card, I "did" just get my hAnglar kit ;) recently and this cutey was in it, she's colored with copics and I sat her on some flowers, papers are again Websters Pages, can't seem to stop using them, lol.
